Gen 2:9 And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight- and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden- and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
Tree of Life...
Pro 3:13 ¶ Happy [is] the man [that] findeth wisdom- and the man [that] getteth understanding.
Pro 3:14 For the merchandise of it [is] better than the merchandise of silver- and the gain thereof than fine gold.
Pro 3:15 She [is] more precious than rubies: and all the things thou canst desire are not to be compared unto her.
Pro 3:16 Length of days [is] in her right hand; [and] in her left hand riches and honour.
Pro 3:17 Her ways [are] ways of pleasantness- and all her paths [are] peace.
Pro 3:18 She [is] a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her: and happy [is every one] that retaineth her.
***
Pro 11:30 The fruit of the righteous [is] a tree of life; and he that winneth souls [is] wise.
***
Pro 13:12 Hope deferred maketh the heart sick: but [when] the desire cometh- [it is] a tree of life.
***
Pro 15:4 A wholesome tongue [is] a tree of life: but perverseness therein [is] a breach in the spirit.
***
Rev 2:7 He that hath an ear- let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life- which is in the midst of the paradise of God.
***
So they took and ate the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil...
Gen 3:6 And when the woman saw that the tree [was] good for food- and that it [was] pleasant to the eyes- and a tree to be desired to make [one] wise- she took of the fruit thereof- and did eat- and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

My question is this... What actually was the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil?
God set 2 trees in the garden of eden. One the tree of Life and the other the tree of knowledge of good and evil...

My question is this... What actually was the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil?
Just out of curiousity- what two cav colours would one have to breed to obtain the posibility of all 4 colours?
Also- I m thinking of getting a cavalier also- I would love a tricolour but the rest of my family want blenheim or ruby. Which one? Hehe xD Thanks.
A man is driving down the road and his car breaks down near a monastery. He goes to the monastery- knocks on the door- and says- "My car broke down.
Do you think I could stay the night?"
The Monks graciously accept him- feed him dinner- even fix his car.
As the man tries to fall asleep- he hears a strange sound. A sound not like anything he s ever heard before.
The Sirens that nearly seduced Odysseus into crashing his ship comes to his mind.
He doesn t sleep that night. He tosses and turns trying to figure out what could possibly be making such a seductive sound.
The next morning- he asks the Monks what the sound was- but they say- "We can t tell you. You re not a Monk."
Distraught- the man is forced to leave.
Years later- after never being able to forget that sound- the man goes back to the monastery and pleads for the answer again.
The Monks reply- "We can t tell you. You re not a Monk."
The man says- "If the only way I can find out what is making that beautiful sound is to become a Monk- then please- make me a Monk."
The Monks reply- "You must travel the earth and tell us how many blades of grass there are and the exact number of grains of sand. When you find these answers- you will have become a Monk."
The man sets about his task.
After years of searching he returns as a gray-haired old man and knocks on the door of the monastery. A Monk answers. He is taken before a gathering of all the Monks.
"In my quest to find what makes that beautiful sound- I traveled the earth and have found what you asked for:
By design- the world is in a state of perpetual change. Only God knows what you ask. All a man can know is himself- and only then if he is honest and reflective and willing to strip away self deception."
The Monks reply- "Congratulations. You have become a Monk. We shall now show you the way to the mystery of the sacred sound."
The Monks lead the man to a wooden door- where the head monk says- "The sound is beyond that door."
The Monks give him the key- and he opens the door.
Behind the wooden door is another door made of stone.
The man is given the key to the stone door and he opens it- only to find a door made of ruby.
And so it went that he needed keys to doors of emerald- pearl and diamond.
Finally- they come to a door made of solid gold. The sound has become very clear and definite. The Monks say- "This is the last key to the last door."
The man is apprehensive to no end. His life s wish is behind that door!
With trembling hands- he unlocks the door- turns the knob- and slowly pushes the door open. Falling to his knees- he is utterly amazed to discover the source of that haunting and seductive sound......
But I can t tell you what it is because you re not a Monk
ok im going to start the grape fruit diet and i got ruby red grapefruit juice but it has 33 carbs and 33 grams of suger is this ok or should i look for something else
we ll start with a look at the years around his death.
in 1960 the bay of pigs happens and it becomes a total defeat and disgrase for both the CIA and the Joint Chiefs. They were hoping eventually JFK would send them back to Cuba to finish what they had all ready started but had failed once at.
1961: Cuban Missile Crisis. Russia puts nuclear missiles on Cuba and threatens to put more on there to make a deterent against the United States. The Joint Chiefs want war- including invading Cuba. They undermine JFK the whole way- and yet JFK will not support their plans for invasion. He puts on a blockade- and Russia backs down. (the Joint Chiefs do not get their revenge over Bay of Pigs)
Prior to his death: Vietnam is heating up- and the Joint Chiefs want to send troops there. JFK does not- He has never been much of a military president and sees no need for Vietnam.
Guess who was a military leader.......
Joint Chiefs have never liked Kennedy and thats a fact.
Johnson however supported many of their plans and ideas and would have gone to cuba and vietnam.
Now comes the conspiracy. Getting rid of Kennedy without it being linked back to the white house.
First time this ever came to mind- i was out in Tuscon Arizona at the Airplane Graveyard museum and they had JFK s Air Force One which was the last of the prop plane AFO s.
While on a tour of the plane- our guide told us something very weird.
The new Jet AFO was set to go to Dallas to pick up JFK and replace the prop jet. Johnson was sitting on AFO when the assasination happened. the Vice President does not ride on AFO. he has his own plane.
Ok so back to what happened.
the Joint Chiefs and Johnson decide that if Kennedy will not start being a leader against communism that they must replace him. But impeaching wont happen because too many people support him.
But- they cant just walk in and shoot him.
So they need someone that will kill Kennedy- dissapear- and never lay ties to them.
In steps Lee Harvey Oswald- a former marine that moved to Russia sometime before the assasination- and then moved back to America not long before it.
He had had trouble in the marines- and was a outsider that very few people knew. He had no ties left behind him.
The Joint chiefs hire him. (if there was a second gunman i dont know).
They expect him to get the job done and then just to dissapear- or if he s caught to be a simple deal.
JFK is killed
Oswald dissapears from the book dipository
Oswald gets in some sort of trouble (think he kills a cop)
Oswald is arrested at a movie theatre in Dallas.
Suddendly there s a problem. Oswald was beyond careless. There s fear he might be able to tell who hired him. He might be able to tell who payed him to kill the president.
Who was Jack Ruby? probably a CIA- NSA- maybe a Joint Chiefs hit man- sent in to silence Oswald before he could tell the secrets to the police.
I believe this is the true story of what really happened.
Mathew- no disrespect but i can tell you must be like 10 years old and read time magazine too much.
None of what you said contradicts anything i said.
Reread what i said first of all and then grow up.
JFK refused to send troops to Vietnam. Johnson put troops there in 63 kennedy was all ready dead by then.
Oswald wasnt communist- he was thrown out of the marines for something (dont know what) and left the country and when he returned- they knew he had no ties and was a sniper.
grow up
oh and i have researched the Cuban Missile Crisis in case you cant read.
the Joint Chiefs wanted war and invasion.
JFK said hell no. he refused to go along with their plans plain and simple.
he might have fought the russians in other areas but only politicaly.
you realize that none of your points as lame as they are make any difference to what i said.
what i said makes perfect sense.
hell you should read my article on 9/11 you might love that one more all though you ll probably say the same thing on that.
