What do you think of my list of girl names? Most of them are classic and timeless names that I adore. Others have heritage meaning. Gaelic names for the Irish in me from my maternal side. And German names- like Hannelore- from my paternal side.

The top ten are my top ten- and are broke into two sets of five. The rest are in no particular order.

Rose Isabeau
Alice Matilda
Anastasia Celeste "Anya" (AWN ya)
Marguax Anne
Madeleine Iris

Ruby Claire
Amelia Fleur "Aimée"
Penelope Opal "Poppy"
Francesca Eloise "Frannie"
Adelaine Pearl "Lainey"

Felicity Eleanora
Avery Beatrice
Georgiana Ruth "Georgie"
Hannelore Mabelle "Hannah"
Melody Ariel
Cordelia Louise
Josephine Violet "Josie or Jojo"
Cecilia Florence "Cecily"
Ivy Cleodora
Olive Vivienne
Caoimhe Astrid
Melanie Nova
Gemma Abigail
Arabella Fern "Belle"
Aisling Victoria

Please note- Avery is the one and only unisex name on my list.
My top three haven t changed in a long time. Rest change frequently.
Hehe- I have Aoibheann on my list as well. Just haven t found a name to go with it.
Why are they stupid? Because they re actually spelled correctly? Or maybe because they are actual- legitimate names?
Clodagh is gorgeous.
Oh how neat. I had a Great-Great-Aunt named Pearl- so it has family meaning to me as well.
Thank you. I m glad you like them.
Because that s what nicknames are for? I love Hannah- have for a long time- but it s so common and popular. The German name- Hannelore- is gorgeous and honors part of my heritage. While allowing me to still use Hannah.

for example- a book like Lily s Ghosts by Laura Ruby- Sammy Keyes and the Dead Giveaway by Wendelin Van Draanen- or Sammy Keyes and the Wild Things by the same author. Also- are there any other Sammy Keyes books with romance? please name as many books as possible- doesnt have to be sammy keyes. thanks!
