Not really preggers - just bored to the deepest breadth of my soul.

My favourite girls names tend to be traditional and simple. Ruby- Lucy- Jane- Nora- Layla- Clara- Chloe- etc.

I love Irish names for boys. Collin- Regan- Ian- Liam- Larkin- etc.

I hate unisex names. Hate them. Ditto with trendy or hippyish names.

Thanks

The memories that I have of my grandparents are rather pleasant memories. My brother and I would spend the majority of every summer with them in the Western North Carolina Mountains. One summer while visiting- we traveled one place every weekend so that Grandpa could still go to work during the week. Sometimes we would travel to Tennessee but most of the time our sight seeing was done in the North Carolina Mountains. The places that we visited and the things that we observed were amazing.

The first place that we visited was the Cradle of Forestry- which is located within the Pisgah National Forest. It was purchased by George W. Vanderbilt when he bought his land for the Biltmore House. The trails were beautiful and so antique. While on the trail- the guide explained to us the different buildings- which I imagined looked as they had one hundred years before when the land was purchased. It was just as the small villages had been- with a school house- a fire department- a house with furnishings that looked the part and a lodge for the rangers.

Our next place on the agenda was Chimney Rock. It was so beautiful- but scary at the same time. We hiked to the waterfall and the thought of falling down the waterfall was very overwhelming for me. When we reached the top of Chimney Rock and looked out at the beautiful scenery- I was both impressed and ready to go- for the thought of falling had once again crossed my mind.

We visited a few other places in the Blue Ridge Mountains and finally we ended up at Ruby Falls in Tennessee. I guess this was the most amazing thing that I witnessed that summer. Even though we could not have picked a shoddier time to go because there was a horrible storm and streets were flooding- once we entered the establishment- all of that seemed to not matter at all. Actually- the experience may have been enhanced because all of the rain fall was trickling down the rock formed walls. Stalactites and some of natures many other works of fine art were strewn throughout the cave and at the end was the image that I think of any time I think of that summer- Ruby Falls- a 145 foot waterfall located underground.

Those were very special moments for me. They are the type of memories that will last a lifetime. I plan to take my children places like these some day. I feel that making these type of memories with a child is wonderful because you are teaching them that learning is fun and that is something that we should all remember.
