Is it just hype? Will Ruby on Rails break through as a major player in Web 2.0 (and I assume Web 3.0- whatever that is)?

Basically- is it worth learning? How does it rank with Python & Django?

I ask because I am on the fence as to which to learn. I am moving away from PHP and want to either learn Ruby on Rails or Python (which would be with Django). My main concerns are AJAX. Django seems to still have some issues but Ruby on Rails looks great... I just don t want to learn the language and 2 years down the line find it to be outdated.

A friend of my cousins-Jessica(Who i dont really know) Invited me to a grad party.And on the invitation it said " For gifts money only-No cards-flowers-etc"
And i dont really want to go.I asked my cousin and he said " Oh yeah she asked me for your address so i gave it to her".Thing is my friend-Ruby- has had some bad things happen to her because of Jessica.Jessica invited Ruby to a party-Ruby didnt show up-and Jessica basically stalked Ruby.Jessica would send her emails-Phone messages..etc saying how bitchy she was for not showing up..And even worse things.
Please help?
How should i let jessica know i dont wanan go to her party-without beign stalked by her?

I remember going to Ruby Tuesday years ago and at the salad bar they had the BEST pasta salad. I used to love it and after they quit making it I haven t had it since and nobody knows what even was.

It was a boy tie pasta with some kind of dressing on it that was redish-orange color. I don t think there were any veggies in it...maybe some diced tomatoes.

I ve looked on the internet for recipes of what sounded like the pasta salad I m looking for- but they never turned out the same.

Anyone know of a good recipe for pasta salad or better yet...know about the kind I m talking about?

Lets say I have a Nintendo DS- and my sister has a Nintendo DS- I have Pokemon Emerald Version- and she has Pokemon Ruby version.
Can we trade Pokemon without a link cable- or does that only work with the newer games?
