what s so good about them that they re worth having little african children put their soul into finding and processing them?

just like pokemon emereld version preferably but i might just be dreamin here....
when I say just like a pokemon game from the store like red- blue- saphire- ruby- etc I mean as in you pick boy or girl- you talk to a professor- pick a pokemon and begin your online virtual adventure. Not like neopets where you just see pictures of stuff and click to buy something and you can t run around and battle random people.

Guys I dont get this. I am playing Pokemon Ruby on my Visual Boy Advance and enter in the code for a certain pokemon but it doesnt work. Say I enter a code like the one i found online (below) is that exactly what I enter or what? I am very confused it isnt working for some reason. Help?

since nintendo ds has wifi- can i trade/battle with pokemon emerald/ruby/sapphire? the e/r/s is on an emulator on a laptop with a wifi connection. is it possible it tade/battle using the laptop vs. ds?
