My power supply just blew out in my desktop that I built myself- so I thought I might as well upgrade the rest while I am getting a new power supply. What parts should I add or upgrade?
What power supply?
I have a Pentium D processer(computer is off- can t find exact model with the computer off and not dismantling anything- but it s not a dual or anything)
I have a ECS NFORCE 570 SLIT-A motherboard (it also says Dual DDR2 667 on it)
I have a ruby orb fan
An Apevia case that has the three dials on the front and the swing open door
I have 1 terabyte of hard drive space (2x500) Hitachi 7200 rpm
2 gigs of DDR2 ram (both have stickers that say ULTRA on them- so I assume that is the brand)
640 mb Geforce 8800 GTS video card
Barracuda sound card
Sony Dual RW disk drive
2 fans built into case- and a side air intake
Running WIndows XP proffesional- and I use it for gaming- a lot of the time on the internet- and I store a lot of files so I have used half the hard disk space.
My budget is $2000 dollars
Why the fluck would I buy a new computer with the leftover money- when I could just add on to my current desktop dipschlit?

After I beat the elite 4 I will be able to trade with Ruby- Sapphire and Emerald. Will I need to get all three games (Ruby- Sapphire and Emerald) to complete the Johto and Hoenn Pokedexs?

That advertise restaurants that are not even close in your area or not even in you state? Like I m from San Francisco and they keep advertising this restaurant called Cici s pizza- also Sonics- Ruby Tuesdays etc... i constantly see commercials like this... i get enticed to go and find out that some are either at least an hour away or not even in California yet. Anyone else feel my pain haha

ruby has always been an early waker. she started sleeping in her crib through the night at 9 1/2 months. we had co slept before that. at 6 months she started waking every hour all night to be rocked back to sleep. we did that for 3 months until finally i realized both she and i were suffering many sleep deprivation effects. so we used the ferber technique- which i had sworn i d never do. she took to it liek a champ and after only a little protesting for the first two nights was sleeping for the night. however- for her- for the night means until 4:30-5:30. usually she wakes between 5-5:30. because i was so grateful to get the solid 9-10 hours- i left it like that for a while. then- because it really does kill me to get up before 6- i tried everything: making her bedtime later- making her bedtime earlier- making her naps longer- making her naps shorter- making her naps at different times. the little stinker wakes up at the same time no matter what -- usually 5:08 on the dot.
the only thing i have NOT tried is letting her cry until 6. i have been told by many people that this will work. but i just am not sure i want to do this -- i mean- she went through the ferberizing at night- it seems to much to haggle over an hour in the morning. but this week she has started creeping backwards again -- to the 4 o clock hour. she is one year old- she never wakes hungry or wet or uncomfortable -- she just wakes and wants out of the crib ASAP- which iunderstand. i m conflicted (obviously). so- sorry for the long question. there is a question here. does anyone else have an early riser? did anyone successfully move the morning wake up time later? did anyone s baby spontaneously stary sleeping later on his or her own? any experience appreciated. thanks!

bradley: oh- i hope so. i think few people have early wakers. also- my questions are so long -- i am not sure i d answer them either! ha. it s so funny that we are in the toddler section!!!! out little babies are getting so big! now sleep- ruby- sleep!
rain: great answet. and thanks for the honesty about your occassional monitor free mornings. i laughed out loud at "cowers." i agree about the sleep control- and i have been trying to let her determine nap times -- sometimes 2- sometimes 1- not at the exact same time. i will definitely try the other things.
